Neurologopedists (or speech-language pathologists) deal with diagnosing and remedying speech and language disorders resulting from damage or disorders of the nervous system. The therapy is always adjusted to the individual needs and capabilities of the patient. It typically involves actions aimed at stimulating the production and reception of speech. One of its key characteristics is the activation cognitive processes, such as: hearing, touch or sight. Exercises involving memory, thinking, spatial orientation, focus and concentration are also very important. We also put high emphasis on diagnostics and therapies against various forms of communication disorders, and on the special feeding therapy for persons (both children and adults) with eating disorders.
Neurologopedists use their expertise to help children:

Neurologopedists also work with adults who suffer due to speech and language disorders caused as a result of damage to the nervous system, usually after some kind of an accident or a stroke, but also with patients with neurodegenerative diseases.
